Have Peace! Now GO!

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.
You heard me tell you, 'I am going away and I will come back to you.' If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father; for the Father is greater than I.
And now I have told you this before it happens, so that when it happens you may believe.
I will no longer speak much with you, for the ruler of the world is coming. He has no power over me,

but the world must know that I love the Father and that I do just as the Father has commanded me. Get up, let us go.
-John 14:27-31

Go now with the peace that our Savior gave to you.
What caught my eyes with the gospel today are the first verse and the last verse.
Jesus once again reminded us that the battle we will be facing is nothing compared to God's greatness. And so he giveth us peace that we may be able to have peace in our hearts. Having nothing to be afraid of and just have faith in our Father. Since we already have peace in our hearts, we are able to see the clear path to where God wants us to be, to whom He has send us out, and to what He wants us to do. When we are able to see these things, we are commanded to "Get up, let us go." For what we have is nothing at all if we only enjoy it for ourselves. The Peace of the Lord, or greater -His LOVE, is for everybody. God wants His people to know that.

So Let's continue the battle. Be not afraid and go on the mission.
Have faith in the Lord who is greater than anything else in the world.
